University of Idaho Visitor Center
The University of Idaho Visitor Center is located in the Student Union Building (On the corner of 6th and Deakin). The Visitor Center is the first “meet and greet” stop off for first-time visitors to campus as well as a gateway to the University for the Moscow community in general.
The University of Idaho is a constitutionally chartered state land grant, Carnegie II Research institution with a strong mission in research, graduate education, and liberal arts. With nine academic colleges and a graduate college, the University has approximately 12,000 students, 2,250 employees on board appointment, and 3,840 student and other part time employees. The University is responsible for a wide-range of statewide academic areas and conducts several cooperative programs with Washington State University eight miles west of Moscow.
Moscow, Idaho is located 90 miles south of Spokane, Washington, amid the rolling hills of the Palouse country—a vibrant university community close to numerous recreational areas. As “heart of the arts”, Moscow is on the list of “Best 100 small art towns in America”.
