community. She added that KUOI has live coverage planned for the city elections

GEM COMMITTEE: The
Gem Committee did not meet in the interim. Beesley said the board is the
starting point for a larger discussion among the Media Board to sort out
options for the yearbook. He added Pat Harts Publication Editing class is
taking on a project regarding the different options that the Gem or university
yearbooks in general have. Beesley and the other members of the board agreed
the Gems future should be a priority for the board as alternate plan needs to
be hammered out before budget planning time.
PHOTO BUREAU: Beesley
stated that the financial proposal for the Photo Bureau is the only remaining
detail to the project and should be ready by the Nov. 18 meeting. Wilson
asked if the project could be held until early spring semester, enabling the

with holding off on the project until early spring.

asked but will email it to Beesley when it is ready; he will in turn distribute
it to the members of the board.
